Kan-tei Technique: The practitioner clutches both hands into fists, using the knuckles of the index, middle, ring, and little fingers as the points of force application, and attaches them to the patient's abdomen, performing back-and-forth rotations.
Knee-lifting Method: The patient sits and performs several bending movements. Hip-lifting Method: The patient lies on his back. The operator holds the patient's knee with one hand and the heel with the other, causing the patient to bend the knee and hip. Then, move it outward or inward. It has the effects of promoting digestion and eliminating stagnation, and enhancing gastrointestinal peristalsis. The indications include food accumulation and stagnation, presenting symptoms such as abdominal distension and pain, belching and acid reflux, loss of appetite and vomiting; as well as constipation and obstruction of the large intestine.
